NICOLE'S VISIT - WE'RE STILL HERE!!

We had a GREAT visit with Nicole! - I think she would move here if she could.......After a drama-filled start (luggage never leaving the US) she began her adventure in Dubai! Riding a camel and a sunset jeep ride, thru the desert, all but erased the unfortunate luggage mishap. Then, onto to Mom and Dad where JT and I made sure that she saw AUSTRALIA.......We spent the 1st day very low key. Lunch with Daddy in the CBD at our favorite french cafe, Jean Pierre Sancho, and then walking to get a feel for downtown Perth. Friday, we hit the ground running......Kangaroos and Koahlas......a must for all 1st time visitors. We went to the beach, the long way there!!!! - The water was freezing, but the most beautiful BLUE you could ever imagine......We had dinner, on Saturday,
at Zafferano's on the Swan River with downtown Perth in the distance. We took a boat ride down the
Swan River to Fremantle (FREO) and met some friends at LITTLE CREATURES - A MICRO BREWERY for the day. Nicole really enjoyed Fremantle. Of course, we went to Swan Valley
for the day and had lunch at Sitella, one of our favorite winery's here. JT tried kangaroo and loved
it. AND NO, IT DOES NOT TASTE LIKE CHICKEN!  The wildflowers were all in bloom in
King's Park and the CANNOLIA were magnificant in New Norciea (monk's monesstary). The
pictures say it all......The only thing we were unable to do was WHALE WATCHING!! - The winds
were above 20 knots so the boats would not go out. Nicole was able to celebrate Father's Day
in Australia (September 2nd) with John and we had a great day in Mandurah on the waterfront.
We made sure Nicole saw Australia! September 8th came tooooo quickly :( :( Enjoy the pictures,
they say it all.........JT and I are doing well.......John will be going to Houston in November for meetings and still loves this project he is on! - He fits in playing golf whenever he can.....I am
still taking golf lessons and thoroughly enjoying school. I will be home for Thanksgiving on November 17th and John will be flying home on December 9th for Christmas. We will both be home until January 10th.WE ARE SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE HOLIDAYS WITH THE KIDS! Take care for now....Hope everyone is doing well and we look forward to seeing everyone
over the holidays........Stay safe, stay well and, as always, stay in touch!!

Much love,
John and Sharon
