all our friends was GREAT! The past 6 mos. has, at times, flown by and others drug on and on and on.......Our flights were uneventful, just long. We landed in Moscow to -2C with snow on the ground and in Singapore to 33C - Since being back, the temperature has been 100+ with some humidity. The news reports this as being the hottest spell in Perth for 40 yrs. - Of course, we feel like we are back in Texas. Summer lasts here until March 1st and then we move into Fall. We are really looking forward to cooler weather.......
We not only saw Nicole over the holidays, but she flew back into town on January 13th to, along with Ashley, run in the Chevron/Houston Marathon. What a terrific sight to see both our girls come across the finish line! (see pics)... John and I are so very proud of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - John has gone back to work, only to have Thursday off for "Australia Day" similar to our 4th of July. His pipeline design is on schedule and he will probably go to Onslow, the site of his line, in February. I hope that the 1st blog post of 2012 finds everyone well and looking forward to a great yr. John will be in Houston
in March for a meeting and I will be coming for a visit the beginning of June. Take care for now.
