Another Uneventful Week!

We had another uneventful week. Sorry to disappoint you......I did have a FULL week though...
Golf lessons on Monday, Tuesday - a birthday party(on the beach) for an expat wife, Thursday
bridge lessons and an AWC (American Women's Club) luncheon on the Swan River. John spent
the week in Onslow at his job site. Of course, it was unbelieveably HOT there. Onslow is north
WA. JT and I went to Toast on Saturday for breakfast and the entertainment was unbelieveably BREATHTAKING............3 dolphins playing in the cove while we ate......they come right up to
the side of the cove and play. It is sooooo cool! - On Saturday night, JT and I were invited to a
"Mexican Train" party. Mexican Train is a game played with dominoes. We met a couple from Kingwood, TX. They moved here in June and kept their house as well. We are looking forward
to getting to know James and Jane and compare notes. Not much is on the agenda for the week.
Take care for now! - Stay well, stay safe and stay in touch!

Much love as always,
John and Sharon

ROD STEWART WEEK-END!!

Hi everyone! Hope all of you had a great week! - JT and I have been back for 2 wks now and
we are slowly getting back to life "Down Under".... ..The temps have gone down...no more
100+ degrees....This week we actually had some very nice mornings, running and biking
weather......John is busy back at work and has confirmed that he will be attending a mtg. in
Houston in March. I know the kids will take good care of him while he is there!!!!!!
I go back to my Golf lessons tomorrow, bright and early  - I am looking forward to it........
Of course, the best part of the entire week-end was ROD! - My Christmas present from John....
The pics say it all...........The concert was held in Nibb Stadium - it is a 20 minute walk from
the condo - what a concept, walking to a concert! - The weather was absolutely beautiful - not a
cloud in the sky and the biggest full moon you ever saw. - We had great seats - 3rd section from
the stage - OMG his is 68 and looks unbelieveable. He has 6 kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and 1 grand-
baby named Delilah:):) - A montage of his family was shown and one of his sons came out on
stage and danced - blonde hair just like his Dad.....you could tell he was a proud PAPA...His band
consisted of 2 drummers, 2 guitar players, and 3 amazing girls playing sax, trumpet and violin.
His back-up singers were just as amazing, and everyone was dressed in HOT PINK - He started
off with "Maggie Mae" and sang for 2 hours. What a GREAT CONCERT!! -

We went Toast, our favorite little cafe, on Sunday morning for eggs benedict:) - The only person
who makes better eggs benedict is Nicole:):):) - That was our week-end and we hope all of you
had a great one also. Have a terrific week.......stay well, stay safe and stay in touch!!!!! Miss you
all!!

As always with much love!

John and Sharon
