I spent the week by myself and SURVIVED!!!! - JT has been gone 10 days and I actually
SURVIVED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD BY MYSELF!!! - The week actually
went by quickly. My weeks seem to be quite full and that is just the way I like it. Not too much
happened out of the ordinary. I made Vodka sauce one night and had some friends over for
dinner. Friday night I went to a Hawaiian Luau with several Chevron expats. As we speak,
JT is in the air flying home. His trip went quite well and he truly enjoyed being home with
"HIS KIDS" - The girls enjoyed spoiling daddy thoroughly and the guys played golf! It just
does not get any better than that! Mornings here have been absolutely beautiful.......low 60's
until about 9am - The Fremantle Dr. blows in everyday after 3pm and cools everything down.
The ducks and the black swans seem to really enjoy the cooler weather also. Not much else
happened this week. JT and I are going to Denmark, a region in Southern WA, for 4 days
the beginning of April. We will make sure to take lots of pictures. Denmark is, we are told,
to have some of the finest wineries in WA. We will let you know........Take care for now.
As always, stay well, stay safe and stay in touch!
Much love,
John and Sharon

I'M BACK!!!!!
I bet you thought I had forgotten all about you...........NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS!!!!! I have
just had a difficult time re-adjusting to being back DOWN UNDER......even with the unbelieveble
Rod Stewart concert ;);) - Since we returned, it has been the HOTTEST summer, on record, in 40 years.
They are blaming the extreme heat on the unusual weather patterns - March 1st was the beginning of
Autumn, however, it is STILL HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!- John has taken a trip to Onslow, to check on the
site of his pipeline. ALL SEEMS TO BE MOVING ALONG JUST THE WAY IT SHOULD:):):)
We have gone back to Swan Valley to visit more wineries and are planning a trip to Denmark (a region
in southern Australia) the beginning of April. I celebrated my 1st birthday in Aussie land - 56 yrs. old
this year......guess what, it does not feel any different being on the other side of the world......just kinda
LONELY.......We had dinner at a beautiful restaurant along the Swan River called Zafferano's - The
food was GREAT and so was the FULL MOON!!! - John and I have gone to the beach every Sunday,
for the past 3 weekends, all along the western coast to find the one we like best.........SO FAR, WE LIKE ALL OF THEM!!! - SO COME VISIT.........John left on Friday night, March 16th, to fly back to Houston for a week of mtgs. and, of course, SEEING HIS GIRLS - He will be gone for 10 days.
I guess I will have to go to Toast for the both of us.......What a hardship!!.......Oh well, I'll suffer
through.......... I am still taking Golf lessons (still lovin' it too) and have started my Interior Design
class. I got a B on my 1st project,! I have also been taking Bridge lessons....talk about HARD.......
lots and lots to remember..........Feelin' really good though!!!!!!! Well, gotta run.......Have a great
week.....stay safe, stay well and stay in touch!
