about no blog last Sunday, but we had technical difficulties......it was somehow deleted............SORRY!
Not too much happened anyway.....This past week has gone by very quickly.......Monday, JT and I took
a defensive driving course (i.e. mandatory for J) for me........a matter of making sure the "nice people in
Perth, Australia" can breath a sigh of RELIEF!!!!! - Driving on the other side does things to your head!!!!!!
I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of the week went by without too much excitement....I am taking Golf
lessons at Burswood Country Club and really enjoying it. JT and I have gone out to the driving range to
practice a few times and I have my 4th lesson tomorrow.........Not a bad sport!!!!! - We also went out
and bought a bike for me....A Giant Hybrid XS(extra small).........It came in over the week-end.....The
challenge now is mastering the gears - This will also really challenge my ability to balance and my equlibrium.......
John and I went to an Indian Restaurant on Saturday evening and John, being John, decided to 'WHEN IN
ROME, DO AS THE ROMANS DO" and try GOAT. The only way to describe it is...very interesting...
It reminds me of SHORT RIBS....The meat is braised and slow cooked in a Clay Pot for hours, covered
with a curry sauce and served over rice........Just one more check on his BUCKET LIST!!!!!!!
Sunday was spent in King's Park.....There is a festival going on and the renovations for the Queen's
visit are almost completed. We took lots of pics today and I hope that you enjoy them. I zoomed in
as much as I could on the pics. - maybe change the zoom level to see them better...
Have a wonderful week...stay safe and stay well......Miss you all very much.....
With all our love,
